It has been a busy early summer.
June 14th was our 2nd anniversary here at the park. Time flies. A lot has changed and we continue to work on projects to improve the park.
Our big news is that we are now a Good Sam Park with an 8.5 rating. We are very excited and aim to make Kountry Air RV Park the best park in the Prattville area.
The garden is doing much better this season. We are harvesting beans, squash, peppers and tomatoes. The cantelope, corn and pumpkins are coming along too. There is nothing better than going out and picking your own fresh produce. We really like grilling the vege's. Oh so yummy!.
Don and I went to Blue Berry Hill, just 2 miles from here, and picked some delicious blue berries.
Wow, were they ever good! I made a fresh cobbler.
Don is always working on projects. He went on a tree trimming mission. Things grow amazingly fast here, as I know we have trimmed some of these trees before! We also helped our wonderful neighbor with tree trimming too.
Don is also doing some plumbing and re-routing of electrical boxes for better placement. He got a helping hand from our guest "Jack". We really appreciated it.
Our wonderful guests from Arizona returned again this summer. It was so good to see them. We enjoyed some great food and campfires with them. The grandkids enjoyed the pool alot. Nancy made Don and I woven chairs. They are just beautiful. She is also a good teacher and was teaching me how to weave on chairs. Really fun to do, but I need more practice. I managed to reverse my colors on my current chair project. But I'll get it eventually!
